Based on the material used wrist magnets are of following types:

• Magnetic Wrist Tube
  Magnetic wrist tube combine magnets with tubes. They come in various magnetic strength and diameters. The north side of the magnets face the body to provide relief from the pain. It also consist of movable high strength magnet for relieving pain. The velcro attached to it applies comfortable pressure and support.
  
  
• Wrist Wraps
  Magnetic wrist wraps on the one hand provide warmth and support while helping the body heal naturally on the other. Great for firm support of carpal tunnel, wrist and thumb areas. Magnets are all north facing the body.

Precautions Any person with pacemakers, defibrillators, implanted insulin pumps etc should avoid the use of magnetic products. Women should also suspend its use. Magnets should also be kept away from the devices like computer disc, audio or video tapes etc. If any problem arise after its use professional medical practitioner should be consulted.
